Hi my name is Jen I have been in care here at Body of Light for about one year. Treated by Dr. David. One afternoon I was in so much pain, and as I was driving down Pearl St, and I drove past Body of Light Family Chiropractic. The sign caught my eye and that very next day I made my way into the office. I was immediately treated with kindness and delight. Dr David and the staff here at Body of Light family Chiropractic put all my worries at ease explaining they would love to help me get past the daily aches and pains and headaches.
For 8 years I have experienced neck, shoulder, and back pain along with chronic headaches. I woke every morning with a headache and as the day continued so did the headaches. In addition to the headaches I awoke with back and neck stiffness. It often took me 10 minutes to get myself out of bed. The only relief was pain medication, anti-inflammatory and/or rest. This meant I spent most of the time on medication and or on the couch doing nothing but sleeping. I did not enjoy myself I was often down and not to mention in pain. I was beginning to believe that this was going to be my life. Until that day I found Dr. David and Body of Light.
My first treatment I was shocked. I had never experienced such relief in my neck and shoulders and back, and not to mention the headache what a relief! The headache was gone. My treatments continued and the headaches stayed in remission. I have been treated for almost on year now, visiting with Dr. David once every other week and the headaches are still gone. I look forward to my visits here at Body of Light and will continue to look forward to them for sometime. I am quite aware that no one has to live with chronic pain or headaches, and I am so glad I no longer have to have medication to get thru the day.
The benefits I have received include happiness, health and well-being. Once again I enjoy daily activities. I am headache and pain free! I now enjoy working out which I never thought I would enjoy or be able to do. Thank you David and Body of Light Family Chiropractic for giving me the ability to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.
